I've struggled with anxiety and heart palpitations for a large part of my life, and went into hypnotherapy blind after it was recommended by a family member. But I'm happy to say that working with Lynne has been so helpful, and after each session I felt we'd made significant progress. I'm now feeling better than I have for a long time and with her advice and the recordings we made I'm sure that things will only continue to get better from here.

I visited Lynn for help with anxiety that was so bad I couldn't see a future past it. Repeated trips to GP's and specialists, constant medication none where effective and just driving a nail deeper with no way out in sight. After the first session with Lynn I had control of my thoughts again and could effectively block out anything that didn't belong reducing the volume in my head by about 80% and giving me the room too breath and heal. I still don't know what's in store for the future but thanks too Lynn i have the tools to make it whatever I want it too be.
I had an amazing first Hypnotherapy experience with Lynne. Lynne has a way of deeply understanding you and your needs, thus tailoring her sessions to you. She also has a perfectly calming voice that is perfect for putting you into that relaxation state for Hypnosis. I had definitely felt a difference even from the first session.
I was feeling over worked and overwhelmed with my life and goals. I had unnecessary pressure I was putting on myself as a strategy to not fail but as a result my mental health was suffering. I had seen a psychologist and it didn't help me. Then I found Lynne and she changed my world. In only 3 session I felt like I had my life on track, the pressure was no longer there and all of a sudden I because a whole new person. My Therapeutic Approach
If you are struggling with anxiety, stress, worry, a sense of hopelessness or helplessness or something else that stops you in your tracks, then this means you already know how frustrating this feels.
When you can’t see a way forward, and it feels like nothing is going to get any better, and then the old self-talk kicks in, it’s hard to get out of thinking that you are stuck in a pit, or you’re on a merry-go-round of ‘here we go again’.
And here’s the thing…you don’t know what you don’t know. There are techniques and strategies I can help you with, that can instantly change how you feel, change how you behave and immediately improve the results that you get when communicating with yourself and with others.
Let’s face it; if you’ve never been shown or taught these, then how would you ever know how to behave yourself out of a problem without help? The facts are – you can’t. Something HAS to change.
My clients are heard and helped, and then embedding these new techniques with hypnosis helps embrace a different, more empowering way of thinking and behaving, even faster.
The fact that you are reading this says you already have awareness that SOMETHING has to change. Well done. That’s the first step – Awareness.
The second step is to make a Decision. You get to Decide that creating a positive change is necessary, it matters to you, and you know deep down it’s now that the change must happen.
When we connect, I like to make it very clear that you and I are having a judgement-free, confidential conversation.
As we speak together, this is where I discover your big challenge or major problem – the one you desire help with. I ask you some questions – and these questions may, or may not, feel challenging at times.
The purpose of the questions is it helps to identify the skills gap and the ‘thinking’ gap, I then guide you to develop the solutions and answers for. I show you what to do instead.
I explain what I notice and what I recommend going forward. I support you and help you through your fears and concerns.
Put it this way; if you don’t learn better ways to do things, and better ways to think and manage your own self-talk, then you might feel better in the short term by having a conversation with someone, but nothing will sustain for you if you have not been taught new strategies to replace the ‘old way’ with.
This is why I believe it is important to educate and show you some positively life-enhancing techniques and strategies that will help you move forward. When we embed these into your hypnosis session, this means you experience faster uptake, making the new skills simpler to adopt and use beyond our session.
You are given a recording of the hypnosis session, for you to listen to at home for a recommended number of days between our sessions.
Dependent on the conditions you present when we speak, most clients discover 3, 5 or 7 sessions are ideal for resolving their problems.

My Therapeutic Approach
My approach to therapy is simple and entirely centered on you. It’s easy to feel like you’re the only one struggling while everyone else seems to have it all together, but I promise you’re not alone. Most people fall into one of two categories: those with healthy, effective habits and those stuck in patterns that don’t serve them well. Whether these patterns are helpful or harmful, they’re shaped by the way we think and behave over time. The good news? Any habit can be unlearned. You might not know how to do that yet, but that’s where I step in. It’s often an unconscious process, and I’m here to guide you through it.
You’ve probably noticed that simply talking about your problems doesn’t always lead to real change. That’s why I use tools like hypnosis and trance-based techniques—they’re powerful ways to create lasting shifts. Sure, you can find endless advice online for managing anxiety or stress, but a lot of it focuses on quick fixes or temporary relief. While those strategies might help in the moment, they often don’t prepare you for the challenges life throws your way. What you need is a new way to approach uncertainty and risk. If you’re struggling, chances are you’re also imagining worst-case scenarios that are unlikely to happen. That’s the pattern we need to change. This isn’t about your past or anyone else—it’s about you. That might sound daunting, but it’s also empowering, because it means you have the ability to make a difference.
The techniques I use are the same ones I’ve taught to hundreds of therapists—counsellors, hypnotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists—through the Institute of Applied Psychology. For most issues, clients see significant progress in just 1 to 4 sessions. If you’re ready to commit to the process and follow my guidance, I’m confident in the results we can achieve together.
